PassportSnap does not collect any personal information. We do not require account creation, login, or any form of registration. The app does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other identifying information.
All photo processing — including face detection, background whitening, cropping, and resizing — is performed 100% on your device using on-device machine learning. Your photos are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or external system. No internet connection is required for photo processing.
PassportSnap requests camera permission solely to allow you to take passport photos directly within the app. Camera access is used only when you explicitly choose to take a photo. The app also allows you to select existing photos from your gallery. No images are captured, stored, or transmitted without your direct action.
Processed passport photos are saved only to your device's local storage or photo gallery when you choose to download them. PassportSnap does not maintain any database, server storage, or cloud backup of your photos or data.
PassportSnap offers optional in-app purchases through Google Play. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play's billing system. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information, credit card details, or billing addresses. Purchase records are managed by Google and can be viewed in your Google Play account.
PassportSnap uses the following third-party services:
RevenueCat — for managing in-app purchase entitlements. RevenueCat may receive anonymized purchase transaction data from Google Play to verify your purchase status. No personal data or photos are shared with RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Google Play Billing — for processing payments. See Google's Privacy Policy.
PassportSnap does not use any analytics, tracking, advertising, or telemetry services. We do not track your usage patterns, screen views, or interactions within the app.
PassportSnap is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with any third parties. Since we do not collect data, there is no data to share.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
